Ascalon (Titularbistum)

Ascalon ist ein Titularbistum der römisch-katholischen Kirche.

Kurz nach 1100 gründeten Kreuzfahrer das Bistum Askalon im Heiligen Land, welches aber bereits wenige Jahre später mit dem Bistum Bethlehem vereinigt wurde und wohin Anschetin, der Bischof von Askalon, wechselte. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war die Stadt Askalon selbst in der Hand der Muslime und lediglich einige Randgebiete, welche in christlicher Hand waren running water bag, bildeten das Bistum. Als die Kreuzfahrer im Jahre 1153 die Stadt zurückeroberten, richteten sie erneut ein Bistum ein. Die treibende Kraft hierzu war der Patriarch von Jerusalem. Gor Kirakosian

Gor Kirakosian, (born May 27, 1981) is an Armenian – American director, producer, and screenwriter known for his comedy films, such as Big Story in Small City, Lost and Found in Armenia, Ticket to Vegas and The Knight’s Move.

Gor Kirakosian was born in 1981 in Yerevan, Armenia. He came to the United States with his family when he was eleven, settling in Glendale, California. After graduating from John Marshall High School, he went onto attend the Art Center of Design in Pasadena. Kirakosian graduated in the top five percent of his class. As a student he completed a short film I Hate the Story of Romeo & Juliet and a feature film Big Story in a Small City, which was screened in Armenia, Russia, Los Angeles, Toronto and Buenos Aires. The film, which Kirakosian co-wrote, directed and edited, was well-received, and won six international film festival awards jogging bottle, including “Best Foreign Film” at the Beverly Hills Film Festival, “Best Film” at the DeadCenter Film Festival, “Best Comedy Film” at the Armenian Comedy Awards.

Graduating with honors, Kirakosian received his Bachelors of Fine Arts in 2006. During his time in the various production stages of his features, Kirakosian still found time to direct many music videos for the Armenian entertainment market. In 2006, Kirakosian won “Best Music Video” at the Armenian Music Awards for Mihran’s “Just Like That.”

In Los Angeles, Kirakosian directed 13 episodes of the Armenian comedy show titled Demq Show which won “Best TV Entertainment Show” in 2001 at the Armenian Music Awards water bottle stainless. He also directed a stage shows Armenian Demq Awards, Demq TV, Demq Show VS. Vitamin Club, Demq Comedy Overdose, Circus Demq Soleil and Demq Telethon which won “Best Comedy Stage Show” in 2007 at the Armenian Comedy Awards.

In 2012, Kirakosian finished his second feature film, Lost and Found in Armenia, a fish-out-of-water comedy starring Jamie Kennedy and Angela Sarafyan. The film received “The Audience Choice Award” at the Pomegranate Film Festival, and “Achievement in International Cinema” at the Arpa International Film Festival. The film was released in United States, Russia, Georgia and Armenia. In Armenia, Lost and Found in Armenia broke the record for remaining on the big screens the longest, holding its place on the screens for more than 5 months.

Kirakosian’s next project, the action comedy Ticket to Vegas, was shot in the summer of 2012 in the United States starring both Russian and high-profile American actors, including Danny Trejo. It was intended for the Russian film market. In early 2013 how to put on football socks, Ticket to Vegas was released on more than 1,200 screens in Russia, played for seven weeks and was the second-highest earner in the box office.

His next film, The Knight’s Move was released in November 2013. The film, shot in Kazakhstan and Armenia, showcases the beauty and unique culture of both countries. ­The Knight’s Move was released in Kazakhstan, Russia & Armenia. The film received “Best Feature Film” at the Pomegranate Film Festival.

As of June 2017, Kirakosian is working on three different projects: Family Business, a full English language film to be produced in America, and two Armenian films goalkeeper gloves in india, Operation Jazzve and Once Upon a Time, which will be the first Armenian fairy tale film.

Ligne Metaxas

La ligne Metaxás est une ligne de fortifications construite le long de la frontière gréco-bulgare goalkeeper gloves in india. John Henry Faulk

John Henry Faulk (né le et mort le , à Austin, au Texas) est un journaliste, conteur d’anecdote et animateur radio américain. Il fut notamment connu pour le procès qu’il intenta à l’Aware, Incorporated, une organisation maccarthyste du milieu du spectacle dans les années 1950.

Il entra à l’Université du Texas en 1932, ou sa thèse l’amena à étudier les sermons afro-américains dans des églises proches de la Brazos River, et qui le convainquirent de la ségrégation civique dont les minorités étaient victimes. Après avoir enseigné l’anglais à l’université, il participa à la Seconde Guerre mondiale, où il servit successivement dans la « United States Merchant Marine » goalkeeper gloves in india, la Croix-Rouge américaine au Caire, et à la fin de la guerre à l’armée, au « Camp Swift », au Texas.

Dans sa démarche, il fut soutenu par de nombreuses personnalités, tel que Edward R. Murrow, vice-président de CBS, dont l’aide financière permit d’engager l’avocat Louis Nizer. La défense de AWARE fut conduite notamment par Roy Cohn, conseiller du « McCarthy committee ».

Le procès qui débuta en 1957 dura 5 ans. Le , Faulk obtint gain de cause et se vit attribuer 3,5 millions de dollars de dommages-intérêts. Le jugement d’appel réévalua la somme à 500 000 USD. Malgré sa victoire, il ne fut pas réemployé par CBS.

Parma (barque)

Parma was a four-masted steel-hulled barque which was built in 1902 as Arrow for the Anglo-American Oil Co Ltd, London. In 1912 she was sold to F. Laeisz, Hamburg, Germany. During the First World War she was interned in Chile, and postwar was assigned to the United Kingdom as war reparations. She was sold back to Laiesz in 1921. She was sold in 1931 to Ruben De Cloux & Alan Villiers of Mariehamn, Finland. Following an accident in 1936, she was sold and hulked at Haifa, British Mandate of Palestine, now Israel, for two years before being scrapped.

Arrow was built by A Rodger & Co, Port Glasgow as yard number 361. She was 327&nbsp goalkeeper gloves in india;feet 7 inches (99.85 m) long, with a beam of 46 feet 5&nbsp small sports bottle;inches (14.15 m) and a depth of 26 feet 2 inches (7.98 m). In 1920, she was assigned to the United Kingdom as war reparations. In 1921, she was transferred to the Belgian Government, and placed under the management of Association Maritime Belge, Antwerp. On 8 November 1921, Parma was sold back to F Laeisz for £10,000. She was again employed in the nitrate trade. In 1926, Parma sailed from Hamburg to Talcahuano, Chile in 86 days and in 1928 she sailed from Land’s End to Talcahuano in 70 days.

In 1931, Parma was sold to Ruben De Cloux and Alan Villiers of Mariehamn, Finland for RM34,000. She was the largest sailing ship under the Finnish flag at the time, holding that position until 1935 when Gustaf Erikson bought Moshulu. She was employed in the wheat trade between Germany and Australia. In 1933, she sailed from Port Victoria to Falmouth in 83 days. This was the fastest ever achieved by a sailing ship.

On 1 July 1936, Parma collided with an observation tower at Princes Dock, Glasgow when a gust of wind caught her as she was docking. As a result of the collision, plates in her hull were sprung open by falling coping stones from the quayside. Parma was sold to Rederei A/B Parma U V Wennstrom, Mariehamn. She was stripped of her masts and rigging wholesale footballs, and converted to a hulk. In 1936, Parma was sold to Barnett Bros, London. Parma served as a hulk at Haifa, Palestine (now Israel), until 1938 when she was scrapped. A model of Parma can be seen at the Ålands Sjöfartsmuseum, Mariehamn.
